Sales pipeline management

Know what is moving.
And what needs you.

A pipeline should explain more than the stage of a deal. Bring customer conversations, open questions and next actions into the same picture.

For sales leaders and teams who need more useful deal reviews.

The work behind the sale

The stage is a label. The conversation is the story.

Two deals marked “Proposal” can be in very different places. One buyer is aligning stakeholders. Another has gone quiet. A stage alone cannot tell the team where to spend its attention.

UniCRM brings interactions, follow-ups and deal progress together. Use that context to understand a blocker, prepare the next conversation and support the person owning the opportunity.

A connected workflow

From context.
To conversation. To progress.

Make each stage mean something.

Define the evidence required to move a deal forward. A meeting held, a need confirmed and a proposal discussed are more useful signals than a stage name alone.

Qualified · Proposal · Decision

Connect history to the next action.

Keep the buyer’s questions and recent conversations with the deal. Use pipeline agents to support record updates and preparation for the next interaction.

Last interaction · Open question · Next action

Review where momentum breaks.

Look for unanswered objections, missed follow-ups and opportunities waiting too long at one stage. Focus coaching and team support on the work that needs attention.

Blocker → Team support → Clear follow-through
Before you choose

Run a review that ends with decisions.

For each active opportunity, use a small set of questions to move the discussion from a status update to an actionable plan.

Discuss your requirements
  • What changed since the last conversation with the buyer?
  • What evidence supports the current stage?
  • What could prevent the opportunity from moving forward?
  • What has the buyer agreed to do next?
  • Who owns the next action, and when should it happen?

Ask us anything
What is sales pipeline management?

Sales pipeline management is the process of tracking and progressing opportunities through defined sales stages. It includes qualifying deals, understanding blockers, agreeing next steps and reviewing whether opportunities are moving forward.

How many pipeline stages should we use?

Use enough stages to reflect meaningful changes in the buying process, without creating a stage for every internal task. Define the evidence required for each transition and simplify stages that do not help the team make decisions.

How is a pipeline different from a sales forecast?

A pipeline describes active opportunities and their progress. A forecast estimates what may close within a period. Reliable forecasting needs current opportunity information, but a pipeline view by itself is not a guarantee of future revenue.

How can UniCRM help with stalled opportunities?

UniCRM connects conversations, follow-ups and deal progress so teams can see where momentum breaks. Use that context to identify an open objection, prepare a relevant follow-up or decide that an opportunity should no longer be treated as active.
