The work behind the sale

A bigger list is not a better starting point.

A promising account needs more than a company name and an email address. Your team needs to understand the business, identify the right person and decide whether there is a problem you can help solve.

UniCRM’s research agents help bring those pieces together. Carry the context into outreach so the first conversation begins with a relevant reason to connect.

A connected workflow

From context.
To conversation. To progress.

Start with the account fit.

Describe the businesses you can help and the problems you solve. Use account research to understand which companies are worth a closer look before spending time on outreach.

Company context · Customer fit · Research brief

Find the person behind the opportunity.

Identify relevant decision-makers and consider their role in the buying process. Give the team a useful contact and the context needed to approach them.

Relevant contact · Role · Buying context

Turn the research into an introduction.

Carry what you know into a relevant opening message. Let the first conversation test your understanding instead of treating an assumption as a confirmed need.

Account brief → Outreach preparation → Conversation
Before you choose

Make your first touch worth their time.

Before reaching out, use a short account review to separate useful context from information that simply fills a field.

Discuss your requirements
  • Why does this account fit the customers we can help?
  • What do we know, and what do we still need to confirm?
  • Is this person involved in the problem or buying decision?
  • What makes the introduction relevant to their business?
  • What should we learn from the first conversation?

Ask us anything
What does Prospect help a sales team do?

Prospect brings account research, relevant contacts and qualification context into the beginning of the sales workflow. It helps the team prepare a reason to reach out and carry that research into the conversation.

Is an account brief the same as a qualified lead?

No. Research can indicate a potential fit, but the buyer’s need, stakeholders and timing still need to be confirmed. Use the account brief as preparation for qualification, not as proof that a deal exists.

Does UniCRM include a contact database?

This website does not specify a contact database size or coverage. Ask the team to demonstrate how accounts and decision-makers are identified for your target market, including available sources and integrations.

What happens after an account is researched?

The context can inform outreach and follow-ups in the Sell workflow. When a conversation develops into an opportunity, keep that history connected to the deal so the team does not have to research the account again.
