Following up on your sales workflow

Hi Ananya,

You mentioned that enquiry handovers take too much of your team’s time.

For our next conversation, let’s walk through one active opportunity together—from the first enquiry to the next follow-up.

Would Thursday work for your team?

A follow-up built on context

Customer context, carried into the next step.

The work behind the sale

A good call is only the beginning.

After the meeting, there is a recap to prepare, a question to answer and a record to update. As the pipeline grows, this in-between work can consume the attention your team needs for customers.

UniCRM’s research, outreach and pipeline agents support that ongoing work. Connect preparation with follow-through so the next interaction starts with the context of the last one.

A connected workflow

From context.
To conversation. To progress.

Prepare before the first touch.

Connect account research with outreach preparation. Help the team understand the buyer and the reason for the conversation before sending the introduction.

Research agent → Account context → Outreach agent

Build on the last conversation.

Prepare follow-ups around the buyer’s questions and the agreed next step. Keep the conversation relevant as an opportunity moves from interest to evaluation.

Customer question → Relevant follow-up → Next meeting

Bring the context back to the deal.

Keep interactions and next actions connected to the pipeline. Reduce the work of reconstructing progress before every team review.

Conversation → Pipeline agent → Updated context
Before you choose

Automate a workflow you understand.

Begin with a repeatable task and a clear definition of a good outcome. Agree on review points before extending the workflow.

Discuss your requirements
  • Map the trigger, required information and intended action.
  • Identify where a person should review customer-facing work.
  • Define when follow-ups should pause or stop.
  • Test exceptions, such as an incorrect contact or a changed buying timeline.
  • Measure time spent and follow-up quality before and after a pilot.

Ask us anything
What is sales automation?

Sales automation uses software to support recurring tasks in a sales process. These can include researching an account, preparing outreach, following up and keeping opportunity records current. It is most useful when the underlying process and exceptions are clear.

Which sales tasks should we automate first?

Start with repetitive, well-understood tasks that are easy to review. Account preparation and routine record maintenance are useful candidates. Define a baseline and check the quality of the output before expanding the workflow.

Is sales automation the same as sending bulk emails?

No. Bulk email is one narrow activity. A connected sales workflow also needs useful buyer context, relevant timing, clear ownership and current opportunity records. The goal is to help the relationship progress, rather than increase message volume alone.

Can we review messages before they go out?

Ask the UniCRM team to demonstrate the review and approval options for the workflow you want to run. This site illustrates the workflow, but does not specify the production controls for every action.
